Field Engineer

Description

• Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during the construction process.
• Help oversee the procurement and material management processes, ensuring the right materials are delivered to the site on time.
• Manage day-to-day administrative items such as, RFIs, submittals, contracts, etc.
• Organize project documents and drawings using designated software according to corporate policies.
• Provide detailed insights and status reports on project progress, highlighting any areas requiring attention.
• Assist with site inspections to ensure construction adheres to design plans, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinating with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and other trade partners to ensure seamless project execution.
• Perform project close out and cost reconciliation

Requirements

• Microsoft Office proficient.
• Ability to be self-motivated and eager to learn
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.
• Valid driver’s license required
• Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution and communication skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate understanding of civil, architectural, mechanical, and general construction techniques
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
• B.S. in Electrical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, related major, or equivalent
• 0-3 years of electrical engineering or civil work experience preferred
• Communicates, models and continuously reinforces company culture and values in a collaborative way with other team members.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
