  • Schedule and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Provide formal supervision to a team of six direct reports, including monitoring training and development, conducting performance evaluations and coaching, and overseeing recruiting and hiring processes.
  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Perform general facilities management duties as needed to support day-to-day operations and maintain a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment.
  • Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
  • Oversee all aspects of facilities maintenance operations across four assigned sites, ensuring service quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures. Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
  • Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
  • Coordinate with and manage your team to ensure the timely and efficient completion of service requests.
  • Perform facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
  • Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
  • Manage the end-to-end work order lifecycle, including initiation, monitoring, and successful completion of service requests.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.

  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Experience with budgeting at a high level of understanding.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Must have experience in managing facilities within a critical manufacturing environment. (Food & Beverage production backgrounds will not be considered).
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

  • CBRE determines compensation based on a candidate's education, training, and experience. The Facilities Manager position has a minimum annual salary of $120,000 (or $57.69 per hour) and a maximum annual salary of $130,000 (or $62.50 per hour). The actual compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, successful candidates may be eligible for a discretionary bonus as part of CBRE's benefit program.
