- Work is performed indoors and out-of-doors, occasionally in environments that are dusty, noisy, or which could have work hazards

- Installing gas appliances, dishwashers and water heaters, sinks and toilets, measures, cuts, bends, and threads pipes using hand and power tools or machines
- Detecting faults in plumbing appliances and systems and diagnoses their causes
