Finance Intern

• Contribute to the preparation and posting of daily journal entries (cash, accruals, reclasses) with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and enhance fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, transfers, and adjustments.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors by providing schedules, analysis, and supporting documentation.
• Participate in cross-functional projects, process improvements, and ad-hoc initiatives.
• Uphold accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and integrity.
• Assist in calculating and recording depreciation and lease amortization.
• Play an active role in the month-end close process through journal preparation, batch uploads, and reconciliations.
• Review and validate supporting documentation to ensure proper coding and compliance with accounting standards.
• Support account reconciliations and contribute to financial analysis.
• Support the management of general ledger schedules, including fixed assets and right-of-use (ROU) assets.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and eager to learn.
