Skilled in preparing and checking design deliverables within the budget hours/Norms and schedule
Ability to understand client requirements, define a scope of work through Concept/FEED/Detailed Design, and support fabrication and construction
ECITB Modern Apprenticeship Scheme preferred
Competent and Knowledgeable of regulatory framework and legislation
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Autodesk, ReCap
Sound time and resource management skills
Good interpersonal skills - Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Proficient in various applicable design software systems and Microsoft packages
Holds an ONC or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline with sufficient post-qualification experience to be considered as possessing a strong working knowledge
Knowledgeable in constructability to support fabrication and construction
Able to travel in UK and abroad, as well as offshore
Competent in preparing design scope for both man-hours and equipment estimates where necessary.
HND or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline with sufficient post-qualification experience to be considered as possessing a good working knowledge
Good knowledge of Design Principles, offshore operations, maintenance layout and plant design, including but not limited to: Fabrication and constructability techniques, Lifting aid design, installation techniques and LOLER lift plans, Application of structural analysis packages, Survey Techniques, Other associated modifications within the Oil and Gas industry.
Cognisant of business requirements and needs and adaptable to changing environment and business requirements
Compliance with company engineering procedures, industry, international and where appliable client codes and standards.
Competent in completing site surveys and interpret survey data/document in completion of design deliverables
