Description

• Participating in industry events to stay up to date on the latest BIM developments.
• Providing support to the delivery team throughout the project lifecycle. advises, innovates, understands, develops and implement processes described within ISO19650 series, including how the information is produced and assured for digital delivery.
• Developing an understanding of ISO19650 and any applicable standards for clients.
• Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
• Providing support in preparation of cost plans from information models.
• Supporting construction sequencing strategy using information models.
• Upskilling the client team, Mace project managers and design team by running BIM knowledge sharing sessions.
• Communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Supporting implementation of governance and assurance processes.
• Monitoring digital handover to completion.
• Supporting object library development in alignment with wider BIM Strategy.
• Collaborating with the Mace PM and design teams on procedural elements and compliance with the Mace way.
• Supporting the development of BIM execution plan (BEP).
• Staying up to date on the latest developments of applicable classifications.
• Reviewing current technology solutions and research new solutions that can be used to improve the BIM process including emerging technologies.
• Assisting the project Digital Manager with co-ordination of consultant and sub-contractor models; running clash detection and ensuring the models are developed in accordance with the EIRs and agreed BIM Execution Plan.
• Supporting the production of information standards, methods and procedures, and shared resources.
• Ensuring security protocols have been followed for viewing and issuing of information on all projects.

Requirements

• Reading, understands and supports the delivery of business process and procedures guides.
• Level 3 qualifications (or equivalent).
• Understanding and performs in line with Information Management assignment matrix (from Table A.1 of BS EN ISO 19650-2).
• Autodesk Desktop Products.
• Level 5 qualifications (or equivalent).
• Visualisation Tools.
• Basic Understanding of ISO19650, BS1192, computer science programming, common data environment (CDE), IFC, and classifications.
• Validation and Verification Tools.
• A level, access to higher education diploma, advanced apprenticeship, AS level, international Baccalaureate diploma, level 3 award, level 3 certificate, level 3 diploma, level 3 ESOL, level 3 national certificate, level 3 national diploma, level 3 NVQ, T Level.
• Diploma of higher education (DipHE), foundation degree, higher national diploma (HND), level 5 award, level 5 certificate, level 5 diploma, level 5 NVQ.
• Proficiency in content management library systems. Autodesk cloud products. GIS tools. Adobe products. Database.
• Personal effectiveness, plans and organises, collaborates and networks, solves problems, adapts and responds to change, delivers results and exceeds clients’ expectations.
