- Oversee conceptual electrical design, interconnection applications, modifications, and technical study submissions.
- Coordinate system modeling, equipment selection, and execution planning with integration, procurement, and development teams.
- Lead interconnection strategy development across multiple ISOs/RTOs and utilities, including application preparation and study management.
- Analyze interconnection results, translate technical outcomes into commercial implications, and serve as primary liaison with ISO/RTOs, utilities, and consultants.
- Negotiate interconnection agreements, engineering & procurement contracts, and track queue positions, milestones, and financial obligations.
- Monitor regulatory and market developments; support financing, diligence, and investment approvals with interconnection inputs.

- BS in Electrical Engineering (or related) with 10+ years managing interconnection processes in ISO/RTO and bilateral markets.
- 10+ years designing or managing transmission infrastructure and deep knowledge of planning processes and study methodologies.
- Proficiency with power flow analysis tools such as PSS/E, PSLF, or PowerWorld.
- Strong negotiation, regulatory navigation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, modeling, and technical writing abilities; capable of managing multiple projects across geographies and technologies.
- Preferred: experience across CAISO, PJM, ERCOT, MISO, NYISO; PE license or advanced degree.

The salary for this role is $175,000‑$215,000, the range we anticipate using when setting wages for this position in California. Final compensation may vary and could be adjusted in the future.
