The Banquet Bartender prepares and serves beverages and food for banquet and catering functions, reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager or Catering Event Manager. The role requires knowledge of the resort’s facilities, proactive service standards, and the ability to handle cash, inventory, and bar setup for events.
Successful candidates are highly customer‑oriented, able to work under pressure, and possess strong team‑building skills. They are expected to embody the BlueStar core values of honesty and integrity, respect for the individual, teamwork, and competitive spirit.
Applicants should preferably hold a high school diploma and have at least one year of bartending experience in a resort setting. They must meet age requirements for serving alcohol, possess a current Food Handlers Card and TIPS® certification, and demonstrate basic math, communication, and detail‑oriented skills, as well as a flexible schedule for evenings and weekends.
Trilogy® at Lake Frederick's Shenandoah Lodge & Athletic Club complex includes a lodge, athletic club, and shoreline outfitter, together offering over 36,000 square feet of indoor space with a lakeside veranda and patio. The restaurant, Region’s 117, and the Shenandoah Events Center are open to the public for dining reservations and private bookings. The campus is situated in the heart of Northern Virginia’s renowned Shenandoah Valley and the role pays $18 per hour.
