Safety Advisor

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Advisor to support the delivery of a high-tech Pharma construction project in France. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all phases of the project, providing guidance and support to the project team.

• Support the project team in achieving zero-harm objectives and maintaining a strong safety culture.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with local, national, and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, reporting findings and recommending corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with management, contractors, and client representatives to ensure all safety standards are met.
• Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to project personnel and subcontractors.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and implement mitigation measures.

• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with teams at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an international, multicultural team.
• Proven experience as a Safety Advisor or HSE professional in construction projects, ideally on data centres or high-tech facilities.
