Assess geological conditions and carry out rock mass characterization. Conduct engineering analyses and design for a variety of rock engineering and geotechnical projects related to slope stability, tunneling and underground excavations, foundations, rockfall hazards, and mining.
Escape the Office: Perform occasional field work, which may include visual site inspections, geological mapping, UAV or terrestrial photogrammetry, monitoring of borehole drilling, televiewer data acquisition and interpretation, detailed rock core logging, construction monitoring, slope stability assessments, rock fall assessment, anchor testing, and installation of geotechnical instrumentation. The extent of fieldwork may vary depending on the applicants interest and experience.
Project Delivery: Take ownership of tasks within small to midsized projects—supporting planning, analysis, reporting, and client communication with mentorship from senior staff. Begin building client relationships by supporting project delivery and learning to tailor solutions to meet evolving needs.

Relevant experience in rock engineering, with interest in field investigation, mapping, rock mass characterization and geotechnical software.
Valid Canadian driver’s license with access to a vehicle.
