Specific design experience shall include grading and drainage plans, coordinate control plans, phasing plans, storm drainage plan and profiles, roadway plans, traffic control plans, water and wastewater plans, preparation of hydraulic calculations for drainage and utilities, preparation of storm water management reports, preparation of project development reports, preparation of geometric and pavement calculations, preparation of civil engineering detail plans, and preparation of specifications in a variety of formats for all aspects of civil engineering projects
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
Presents complex technical solutions to clients.
Participates in development of technical proposals.
Serves as lead engineer on mid- to large size projects.
Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.

Applicant will have familiarity with all disciplines normally involved with vertical construction projects. Engineering experience shall include design of private development projects and associated infrastructure, transportation projects focused on local roadways and associated improvements, and utility projects with a focus on water and wastewater lines.
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering and 10 years of experience equivalency of experience and/or education.
Demonstrated experience in use of REVIT/AutoCAD including Civil 3D provide production support as a portion of team support and development.
Approves and signs off on work.
Experience shall include a minimum of 3 years of project management or deputy project management experience including responsible charge of supporting staff engineers as well as project contact and coordination with clients, stakeholders, and authorities having jurisdiction.
Professional License in California (PE)
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering and 8 years of experience equivalency of experience and/or education.
