Applicants need a high‑school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in permitting, regulatory compliance, or administrative support. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required, along with the ability to read permit applications, multitask, and communicate effectively. A Permit Technician Certification is preferred.
The position may be performed in both field and office settings and can involve occasional bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working in varied weather conditions. Visual acuity, hand‑eye coordination, and color recognition are necessary for reviewing documents and plans.
