APTIM is looking for an enthusiastic Environmental Project Manager to lead multi‑state environmental assessment, remediation and compliance projects. The role is hands‑on, fast‑paced and requires developing scopes of work, managing project schedules and budgets, conducting client conference calls, and overseeing dewatering permitting. The manager will evaluate long‑term liability and cost‑reduction options for state and local government, heavy industry, and retail petroleum clients, while mentoring less‑experienced staff. The position is remote with 10‑20% travel.

- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Project Management, Environmental Engineering, or related science
- 10‑20 years of experience in environmental project execution, management, and personnel leadership
- Strong organizational skills to manage 30+ projects simultaneously and stay on budget
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and due diligence services
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple ongoing activities
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
- Completion of 40‑hour OSHA‑HAZWOPER training with annual refreshers
- Preferred certifications: Professional Geologist/Engineer, Licensed Asbestos Inspector, Asbestos Project Monitor, Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor, Indoor Air Quality Training
- Indoor air quality, industrial hygiene, or environmental compliance experience is a plus
- Must be located in TN, AL, KY, or GA
- Experience managing projects for both government and private clients
- Experience working in geologic environments of Georgia, Florida, Texas, Tennessee, or Kentucky

The compensation range for this role is $90K–$130K annually, adjusted for experience, education, location and market factors.
