Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation throughout team at all times and ensure works are carried out as per relevant VRS specification
Attend project briefings as required
Manage and mentor apprentices and operatives and coordinate the work of others as necessary
To keep records, complete all necessary paperwork, communicate and liaise with other employees of Amey, sub-contractors, the emergency services, the police, the general public, clients and customers.
To be responsible for the security of vehicles/plant and materials under their direct control and to plan work and estimate vehicle/plant and material requirements.
Report any Health and Safety, team or performance concerns to the Supervisor.
Maintain high technical standards and solutions
Stand in for Supervision as and when required

Driving Licence
Experience of Chapter 8 and Traffic Management on High-speed roads
Personal Highway Safety Certificate
This role will specialise in Vehicle Restraint Systems but experience with drainage, kerbing, fencing, walling, sweeping, signing, patching, traffic management, soft estates work will be an advantage
HGV Class 2 Licence (Preferable)
To drive/operate vehicles/plant requiring general and specialist skills including vehicle checks, routine maintenance, (e.g. oil and water checks etc.) and cleaning.
SSSTS or SMSTS
