The EHS Professional will coordinate and implement site‑specific health, safety, and environmental plans, monitor their progress, and coach incident investigations using 5‑Why and TapRoot methods. They will manage work‑related injuries, represent HSE in customer meetings, interact with authorities, provide environmental support, and promote safety programs that focus on soft‑tissue injury prevention.

- Support line management with the Incident Management System for timely closure.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of HSE best practices, technologies, and regulations.

The company is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Professional to work remotely from California, New Mexico or Arizona, supporting service locations across the region.
A bachelor’s degree in environmental management, industrial health & safety, or a related field and at least three years of industrial or construction HSE experience are required. Candidates should have experience with behavior‑based safety, ISO 14001/9001/45001 standards, root‑cause analysis, ergonomics, and mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems, and must be authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada.
The role requires the ability to climb ladders and stairs up to 125 m, lift or carry up to 50 lb, work in confined spaces and at heights over 100 m, and operate in demanding weather conditions. Employees must also meet PPE requirements, possess good hearing and vision, and be comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, Industrial Health & Safety, or related field.
- Minimum three years of experience in industrial or construction HSE roles.
- Experience driving cultural change and behavior‑based safety programs across jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with wind industry operations (desired).
- Ability to engage senior leadership, vendors, and customers effectively.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 implementation.
- Proficiency with TapRoot or similar root‑cause analysis processes.
- Background in ergonomics, behavioral safety, and safety culture programs.
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and crane/rigging safety.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. and/or Canada without sponsorship.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, SAP, and remote work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to audit and manage global and local HSE standards.
- Able to climb ladders or stairs up to 125 m and lift/push/pull up to 50 lb.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights over 100 m, and in inclement weather.
- Capable of repetitive manual tasks, using hand tools and turbine parts.
- Able to hear, see, and use radios effectively; capable of controlled descent training.
