You will lead a small team and work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve queries, manage credit control processes, and ensure compliance with financial policies. The role includes direct management of a team of Purchase Ledger Clerks.
Purchase Ledger Management
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales and Purchase Supervisor to join our finance team on a full-time basis. Based on-site in Esh Winning and reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role is essential to ensuring accurate management across all ledgers, maintaining strong financial relationships, and supporting healthy cash flow.
- Monitor outstanding debts and manage credit control processes
- Lead and support the ledger team, providing training and guidance
- Supervise the processing of supplier invoices, payments, and credit notes
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of customer transactions
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Oversee the processing of sales invoices, receipts, and payments
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
- Manage and support a team of Purchase Ledger Clerks
- Allocate tasks and ensure deadlines are met
- Manage payment runs and ensure compliance with payment terms
- Act as the point of escalation for complex queries or issues
