Acquired by Argan, Inc., they benefited from enhanced capital and scale, positioning GPS as Argan’s largest subsidiary in power services.
GPS has delivered flagship combined-cycle plants such as the 829 MW Panda Liberty and Panda Patriot in Pennsylvania, optimized for Marcellus Shale gas.
They also built 475 MW natural gas-fired facilities in Ohio and North Carolina and a 785 MW GE 7HA plant in Connecticut.
Distinctive for installing the first U.S. Siemens 'H'-class single-shaft gas turbine plants, GPS stands out in technical complexity and innovation.
