Assist with work stoppage incidents when circumstances could lead to an immediate danger to life and health on a project.
Assist in maintaining project Safety & Health reporting requirements and project specific Safety and Health records are in an audit ready state at all times.
Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable Local, State, and Federal Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.
Assist with availability and safe use of safety equipment and quantities.
Assist in planning field activities and the development of Activity Hazard Analysis with project management and provides support to eliminate Safety & Health violations including monitoring subcontractors to ensure a safe working environment for all AZCO employees on site.
Assist with correspondence to heighten safety awareness, project safety and health goals.
Distribute and communicate safety information and materials.
Assist in obtaining permits and monitors hot work, confined space entries, lockout/tag out, and excavation.
Assist with providing Safety & Health program support on field construction projects to verify operations are executed as planned and conducted in a safe manner.
Resolve safety and health concerns and document the details and personnel involved for the project management team.
Conduct daily walk throughs and coordinates with site supervisor to effectively carry out the site-specific safety plan.
Acts as liaison between customers and jobsite contacts.
Assist in the maintenance and submittal of all documentation as required by the Corporate Safety & Health Department.
Assist in identifying and documenting unique Safety & Health issues during the execution of the work at the project, and assist with implementing corrective action based on policies, guidelines and procedures for resolution.
Assist investigates incidents, prepares appropriate reports, and assists management in implementation of Return to Work policy.
Assist with orientation and training employees on safety and health requirements to ensure understanding and compliance with regulations and company policy.
Assist in policy and procedure development and determination of department goals and objectives; works with Safety Director to determine best means of implementation and provides feedback as to success and challenges.
Complies with all policies and standards
Assist with communicating to local responders and medical facilities for pre-job mobilization.
Assist the corporate and project Safety & Health teams in a collaborative manner to verify that the project safety program is being implemented and required safety compliance is documented.
Assist various work teams with pre-planning safety and health hazard assessments to ensure compliance with project policies and procedures.
Assist in executing Safety & Health Program deliverables as defined by the Corporate Safety & Health department of the Company.

Valid drivers license Required
Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located.
OSHA 10-hour Construction Outreach Safety Training Course Required or
Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
OSHA 30-hour Construction Outreach Safety Training Course Required
Must be proficient in the use of computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Basic knowledge of Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) Construction and General Industry Regulations, as well as; America National Standards Institution (ANSI), National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), Army Corps of Engineers (CoE), Engineers Manual 385-1 and National Electrical Code (NEC) Standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant degree. Required or
Associate Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant degree. and 2 years construction safety, general industry safety, or construction management. Required or
