Tasks

This role is essential to ensuring accurate scheduling, trailer coordination, inventory control, and seamless delivery execution. At SPF, we live our core values—Integrity, Collaboration, Accountability, and Efficiency—every day to deliver excellence and reliability -Lead and supervise the logistics team including material handlers and associates -Implement safety practices and oversee the condition of logistics equipment -Work closely with Coordination, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to streamline operations -Generate weekly reports on logistics performance, returns, and trailer usage -Drive continuous improvement and technology adoption for increased logistics efficiency -Communicate with vendors and distributors to resolve delays and delivery issues -Coordinate and manage all inbound/outbound deliveries and ensure proper routing -Oversee creation and verification of delivery sheets and ensure quality control of materials -Ensure trailers are loaded by territory with accurate documentation and tagging -Manage cutdowns, warranty returns, and Return-to-Customer tracking -Respond to CRM tags and monitor scheduling timelines to ensure accuracy -Track inventory and audit material status for each scheduled job

-Technically proficient in CRM and logistics tracking tools -Strong team leader and mentor with the ability to train and develop staff -Experienced in logistics, delivery coordination, and warehouse operations -Highly organized and skilled in prioritizing time-sensitive tasks -3+ years of logistics, warehouse, or transportation experience preferred -Excellent communicator across departments and vendors -Problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments -Laptop, monitor, keyboard, & mouse provided
