Maintenance Supervisor

Tasks

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the facilities, layout, and machinery used to produce new and existing materials and goods run to their maximum efficiency and output. This includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical, and robotic equipment Includes people management and budgetary/cost reporting. Responsible for production scheduling and overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out. Increase the site operational effectiveness, improve on project delivery, mean time between failure and downtime reduction, and manage and implement improvement plans, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to. -Maintain vendor relationships and order new materials as needed -Ensure all machinery is up to working standards -Oversee, manage, and direct all maintenance procedures and operations -Use data analysis to help prepare for and prevent future problems -Assess current maintenance work processes, to optimize efficiency -Train new employees in maintenance work processes and procedures -Create and adhere to maintenance budgets -Record and track daily progress/error reports -Perform evaluations of employees to ensure quality of work -Troubleshoot problem areas and create a clear plan of action for fixing necessary parts -Create a work environment with safety as a high priority -Create and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs (performing quality checks of all machinery, tools, equipment etc.)

What You Bring

-Can effectively and efficiently handle both administrative and mechanical responsibilities -High school diploma or GED required -Ability to lift up to 25 lbs -At least 5 years of previous managerial experience highly preferred -Extensive knowledge in a variety of mechanical systems -5+ years relevant experience in maintenance -Experience managing multiple vendors -Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite) and a solid understanding of data analysis software
