  • Any combination of college or work experience in environmental science, physics, engineering, biology, or related scientific area which provides the knowledge and abilities listed
  • The written exam is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
  • Sample preservation techniques
  • Candidates must receive a qualifying score on each selection component to move forward in the selection process.
  • Communicate clearly both orally and in writing
  • Methods of preparing and interpreting maps, charts, graphs, plans and technical reports
  • A valid California Class C driver license
  • Option B: Possession of a a Bachelor of Science degree in a directly related major
  • Methods of interpreting and presenting technical data verbally and in reports
  • Use word processing, spreadsheet, and database computer applications
