  • Proficiency in GIS, statistical modeling, and aquatic monitoring tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aquatic Biology, Fisheries Science, Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. strongly preferred).
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Sacramento–Bellingham region for fieldwork, meetings, and project support.
  • Proven leadership in aquatic habitat assessment, water quality evaluation, and ecosystem management.
  • Demonstrated success managing large, multidisciplinary projects and navigating complex regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and teams.
  • Exceptional technical writing, communication, and client engagement skills.
  • 15–20 years of professional experience in aquatic science, fisheries management, or environmental consulting.

  • Pay Range: $134,859 - $196,129 (DOE)
