Overview
Inspect mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems on transportation infrastructure projects.

Tasks
-Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses -Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents -Oversee testing, commissioning and turnover of MEP systems. -Conduct inspection of mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems at various Transportation related facilities like Airports, Tunnels, Bridges, Terminals, Transit Systems, and Ports.

What You Bring
-Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. -5 years’ experience in construction inspection of mechanical/HVAC work on major transportation/infrastructure projects for public agencies, such as PANYNJ, MTA, NJTA, NJDOT, NJ Transit. -Experience with vertical transportation systems -OSHA 30hour training -Demonstrate familiarity with a broad spectrum of construction materials, methods and processes for buildings and facilities -PE license in New York or New Jersey -Excellent Organizational and communication skills required. -NFPA Fire Protection System Certification and ICC M2 Mechanical Inspector Certification
