Prepare budgets, monitor expenditure, and report on financial performance.
Ensure resources are used efficiently and cost-effectively.
Address HR issues promptly and in line with organizational policies and in conjunction with our people and culture leaders.
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure health, safety, and welfare of children and staff.
Ensure full compliance with preschool regulations, Children First National Guidelines, and all relevant legislation.
Implement and monitor Siolta and Aistear frameworks to maintain quality standards.
Act as Designated Liaison Person for child protection and safeguarding matters.
Maintain accurate records for inspections and regulatory reporting.
Identify opportunities for funding and community partnerships.
Facilitate regular team meetings and provide supervision and performance reviews.
Promote continuous professional development and reflective practice among staff.
Develop and implement strategies to ensure financial sustainability of the service.
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of early years educators to deliver high-quality care.
Develop staff schedules and ensure adequate ratios are maintained.

Strong understanding and experience in Early Childhood Education and working with parent/carers.
A minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in a management role.
Proficient in Microsoft office packages & have strong computer skills.
Experience in financial management and budgeting.
Experience in implementing the suite of Pobal funding programs.
Experience in monetary management and budgeting & possess good analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft office packages.
Third Level qualification (Degree) in Early Care and Education is essential.
