The Substation Coordinator/EIT role supports the preparation and coordination of engineering designs for low, medium, and high‑voltage substations, collaborating with CAD drafters, designers, and other engineering disciplines to deliver innovative infrastructure solutions.

Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, analyses, reports and designs for electrical substations (Low, Medium and High Voltage).
Prepare calculations, design sketches and redline drawings.
Work with Electrical CAD Drafters and Designers to develop drawings meeting national design standards, safety codes, and project specifications.
Develop design deliverables such as one‑line diagrams, protection and control schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA schemes, communications plans, substation layouts, material lists, conduit and cable sizing/routing, AC and DC system calculations, and grounding plans.
Review work of Electrical CAD Drafters and Designers and coordinate design with other engineering disciplines as needed.
Exercise judgment in evaluating, selecting, and modifying electrical engineering techniques and procedures.
Make decisions on significant design and engineering features as needed.

Experience or interest in sustainable design/LEED (desired but not required).
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
