Graduate - Technology Future Leader

The role of a Graduate Technology Future Leader is a vital one as you will help ensure that water quality targets and standards relating to specific legislation are met. This will ensure that we provide our customers with a wholesome water supply that everyone can enjoy.

• Work as part of a larger team to deliver solutions to business problems; some of the roles that you might work in are as a project analyst, operations specialist, PMO analyst, data governance specialist, security specialist
• Security vetting – Yorkshire Water will facilitate this for successful candidates
• Develop your technology knowledge and business skills; we expect our Technology Future Leaders to move into junior tech leadership roles such as Junior Project Manager
• Undertake placements in the different teams the make up the Technology function, such as Architecture, Change, Infrastructure and Operations, Data and Security

Successful candidates will undergo pre-employment checks, including a Basic Disclosure via a third-party provider. Some roles may also require Counter Terrorist or Security Check clearance.

Location: West Yorkshire with requirement for flexible travel across Yorkshire & Humber.

You don’t need to have a technology degree, but you will need a keen interest in technology and how it can enable the business.

• Minimum 2:1 Bachelors degree.

Starting salary: £32,000, rising to £37,000 by end of year 2 • Extras: £2,000 signing bonus, annual bonus, 25 days holiday + bank holidays + wellness day • Pension: Up to 12% company contribution • Life assurance: 4x pensionable salary • Permanent substantive role offer upon completion of programme subject to performance
