The Field Service Supervisor provides exceptional leadership for the field service team within the assigned territory and serves as the primary contact for all customer escalations. The team performs on‑site services such as installation, maintenance, and repair across industrial, commercial, national accounts, and high‑temperature product lines. The supervisor is also responsible for growing revenue and meeting profitability goals in the region.
Key duties include supervising service delivery of equipment channels, start‑up, warranty, contracts, and billable services; aligning internal resources like parts sales, contract sales, project sales, and service coordination; and handling back‑office administration such as timesheet entry, expense reporting, and service report creation. Performance is measured through technician utilization, revenue versus warranty costs, report quality, install‑base penetration, customer satisfaction, and first‑time‑fix rates. The supervisor supports employee evaluation, quality assurance checks, and conveys customer experience via the C2 complaint system.
Collaboration is essential: the role interacts with Service Sales to define scope and costs, Service Engineering for technical support feedback, and Equipment Sales to share leads and build service sales. The supervisor also manages customer queries, resolves issues with relevant departments, participates in recruiting, new‑hire orientation, field training, and ongoing education, and advises on schedule conflicts, equipment problems, and employee issues.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a business concentration and extensive commercial HVAC maintenance experience in commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. Candidates must demonstrate strong complaint handling, excellent verbal and written communication, multitasking, MS Office proficiency, and prior experience in fast‑paced service operations, scheduling or dispatching. Leadership or team‑lead experience, travel flexibility, a valid driver’s license with an excellent record, and the ability to partner with cross‑functional teams are required.
