This position reports to the Plant Manager – MOLM India. In this role, you will assist the local unit in developing capabilities to effectively control products and systems, ensuring compliance with internal, customer, and industry requirements within a cost‑effective and safe working environment.
You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the development and implementation of standards and test methods to ensure only compliant products, software, and services are released to the customer. The work model for the role is on‑site.
The role contributes to the Motion Business for the Low‑Speed Synchronous Generator division based in Vadodara, India.
You will be mainly accountable for a range of quality‑focused activities.
- Conduct test protocols (incoming, manufacturing, lab, final inspection) and Factory Acceptance Testing to ensure product, system, or software compliance.
- Support quality control for supplier quality, production quality, testing, validation, and engineering.
- Deliver quality‑related training, fostering a passion for quality, integrity, and result orientation.
- Collect, record, and evaluate data per ABB specs, customer norms, and national/global standards while maintaining integrity.

The role requires 7 to 10 years of experience in implementing standards and test methods to ensure compliant products, software, and services.
