Overview

Administers contracts, ensures compliance, manages variations, supports reporting for Inland Rail.

Tasks

-Uphold ethical standards and probity across all contract functions. -Assess and manage contract variations, disputes, and claims. -Maintain commercial registers and ensure timely documentation. -Monitor and implement processes to ensure contractual compliance. -Foster collaborative relationships and contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace. -Liaise with Legal Counsel on complex contractual matters. -Administer contracts efficiently, including payment reviews and authorisations. -Support month-end reporting with accurate cost forecasts. -Identify and mitigate commercial risks. -Ensure receipt and accuracy of insurances and securities. -Ensure compliance with Inland Rail’s policies, IMS, EMS, and CARE values.

What You Bring

-Strong understanding of design & construction contracts and commercial principles. -Proven experience in contract administration within large infrastructure projects (Ideally a Rail Infrastructure project). -Tertiary qualifications in construction, quantity surveying, law, engineering, or related discipline. -Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. -Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders. -A clear understanding of ethical practices and probity within a large organisation
