Maintain strong relationships with the Amey press office and work with the business on the development of pro-active and reactive media statements when required.
Ensure the effective delivery of BU marketing needs to position Amey in relevant sectors, support bids and new business opportunities.
Design and deliver the Business Unit annual communications plan to support the BUs strategic objectives.
Attention to detail and quality, ensuring all communications and marketing materials meet brand and compliance standards.
Work with the People Directors and the recruitment team to embed Amey’s Employee Value Proposition within all our internal and external people communications and support on employee engagement surveys.
Advise and support contract communications professionals to ensure Amey is meeting its contractual commitments on end user communications activity.
Working closely with the BU Strategy Director to ensure the BU public affairs requirements are supported and delivered by the central communications function.

Experience of marketing communications in a high growth B2B business
Strong organisational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple communication and marketing tasks simultaneously.
Experience of working in a matrix organisation and using resources from teams not directly line managed.
Ability to interpret data and insights, using analytics to guide improvements and influence communication planning.
Excellent understanding of all aspects of a communications function
A degree in a relevant subject and evidence on continuing professional development in communications and marketing
Collaboration and teamwork, with proven ability to work effectively with shared service resources and cross-functional teams.
