Intermediate Hydrotechnical Engineer

Description

• Perform primarily officebased work, involving extended periods of computer use and data analysis
• Support proposal development and assist in creating work plans, project schedules, and budgets, while managing assigned projects and tasks
• Develop hydrodynamic models using tools such as MIKE 3, MIKE 21, and Telemac to support coastal and river engineering projects, including environmental impact assessments, remedial designs, and risk evaluations
• Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to a cohesive and productive work environment
• Prepare clear and comprehensive technical reports documenting field investigations, analytical findings, and interpretations

Requirements

• Apply a strong understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic principles, with proficiency in HECRAS, HECHMS, and PCSWMM
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Recognized for technical expertise and practical problemsolving
• Excellent teambuilding abilities
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities daily
• Valid Gclass driver’s license required
• Ability to deliver highquality, organized, and consistent results
• Familiarity with local markets and practices is an asset
• Disciplined approach to project execution and technical excellence
• Sound decisionmaking and problemsolving abilities
• Demonstrate a solid understanding and consistent application of industry standards, guidelines, and regulatory frameworks
• Entrylevel project management skills are an asset
