Advanced Locating and Pipeline Services Technician

Description

• Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures while on site.
• Perform advanced locating services for underground utilities, with a focus on gas pipeline systems.
• Utilize specialized locating equipment and technology to identify and mark underground utilities.
• Travel frequently to various job sites within the Lansing, MI area and surrounding regions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of locate activities using Excel and other reporting tools.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to gas locates to ensure safety and accuracy.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
• Strong troubleshooting skills related to gas locates and underground utility identification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in utility locating, preferably with gas pipeline systems.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently for job assignments.
