Permit Coordinator

Description

• Submit all necessary documents, staking sheets, and permit packets to applicable permitting entities.
• Attend DB621 training, provide status updates, and participate in quality control review meetings with assigned points of contact.
• Engage in project meetings, providing updates and participating in strategic planning calls.
• Work with municipalities to ensure design drawings meet requirements for permit applications, tracking all relevant information.
• Interpret existing fiber cable records, staking sheets, as-builts, as-stake, PUE, easement, and ROW/COLO documents.
• Manage tracking systems and project management/coordination systems, ensuring proper storage of permit-related documents and records.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience as a permit coordinator or in a similar role for telecommunication or fiber projects (aerial and/or underground).
• Proficiency in Excel for logging and tracking information.
• Experience in telecommunications, municipality interactions, and construction.
• Experience working remotely with a high degree of trust, maintaining effective communication, and consistent attendance.
• Experience communicating with end customers via email, phone, etc.
• Familiarity with permitting, ROW, fiber, colocating, and permit applications.
• Ability to read design drawings.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple documents, files, applications, and processes simultaneously.
• Ability to gather necessary information from municipalities or similar entities.
• Draw permit polygons and handle DB621 ROW/COLO experience.
