
Support the Sustainability Team and Pump Engineering Team so that they can respond to customer requests for embodied carbon data on our product offering. This information is communicated via a TM65 Form or a Type II Environmental Product Declaration.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Pump Engineering LCA Support co-op to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an engineering student interested in experiencing an HVAC manufacturing work environment at the front lines and learning to conduct an LCA.
Real-world experience: Sustainability and carbon accounting is an important field in manufacturing, largely driven by the increasing regulatory demand for Environmental Product Declarations. Life Cycle Assessment is a powerful tool that allows manufacturers to communicate the environmental impact of a product. In this role, you will support the LCA Team. LCA professionals are poised to become strategic leaders in sustainability. This opportunity will also allow you to learn how to conduct LCA modeling with the LCA software openLCA.
