The Production Assistant role supports all production‑related duties such as setting up machines, making splices, and interpreting job orders, specifications, and the inventory system. The position contributes to maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety on the shop floor.
- Maintain housekeeping and keep no-work areas clean
- Set up machines and assist with prime equipment as needed
- Make splices and handle raw materials without damage
- Record material consumption using the Syteline ERP system
- Read and interpret job specifications and operating reports
- Perform web inspections to identify quality issues
- Reduce waste and improve machine efficiency
- Disassemble and clean support equipment (pumps, hoses, filters)
- Restock and check storage cabinets for assigned machines
- Attend monthly safety training and complete daily safety checklists
- Follow all safety practices, company policies, and procedures

- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior manufacturing experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
- Forklift operation experience preferred

This is a second‑shift position (Monday‑Friday, 3 p.m. – 11 p.m.). The hourly rate is $21 plus a shift differential, and the role is eligible for bonuses.
