Act as contract owner for FM service contracts (M&E, fire, security, cleaning, landscaping, waste, etc.) and manage day-to-day contractor deliverables
Respond to incidents, alarms, or service interruptions affecting facilities infrastructure and coordinate restoration actions.
Build cooperative working relationships with Operations, Engineering, WHS, and external partners (Sydney Metro, TfNSW, utilities, airport stakeholders).
Support the OCC and operations teams in readiness for special events, engineering hours, and weekend possessions.
Manage the Facilities Asset Portfolio, ensuring FM systems achieve performance, compliance, and lifecycle targets.
Provide expert input into configuration control, warranty management, defect liability period resolution, and obsolescence planning.
Be the Lead for the FM function for a landmark driverless metro system.
Oversee supplier performance reviews, KPI dashboards, and monthly contract meetings. Prepare daily and weekly performance dashboards summarising asset availability, maintenance completion, defects, and contractor performance.
Inspect station and depot FM systems regularly, verifying compliance with statutory maintenance schedules and standards (WHS, Building Code of Australia, ONRSR).
