  • Assist multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Provide general IT functions in support of Preventive and Corrective Maintenance completion.
  • Update Maintenance procedure cards as needed.

  • Provide Casualty Maintenance for supported electronic systems within a prescribed timeline.
  • Must contribute in a team environment to produce and submit drawings to the customer for quality assurance review and publication per all applicable service instructions and regulations
  • Provide general facilities maintenance as required.
  • Travel to remote sites to conduct Preventive and Corrective Maintenance
  • shall produce “red line”/draft drawing edits for approval by the identified U.S. Coast Guard Lead Engineer for each engineering change.
  • Review system/component schematics.
  • Performing on-site surveys for afloat/shore asset(s) to support integration of the system design on identified assets and corresponding drawing development.

  • Experience with the EC/TCTO process within USCG C5ISC and ship/shore installation requirements
  • Shall be proficient in reading, editing, and interpreting USCG graphic programs (i.e., CAD, VIZIO, etc.)
  • Must be able to drive.
  • Must be able to climb towers to perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Electronics Engineering or completion of USCG or DOD Technical Schools preferred. Education and USCG/DOD Training may be substituted as follows:
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
  • Requires occasional CONUS and OCONUS travel.
  • Must be able to climb towers and be able to obtain tower climbing certification.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.
  • Able to provide driving record upon request.
  • USCG/DOD Standards Experience: Four (4) years of commercial experience in electronic systems installation, troubleshooting and/or repair, including shipboard and shore station support.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Educational Experience: Four (4) plus years of experience working with C4IT/C4ISR Systems.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Ability to pass and maintain background clearance.
  • Must be able to work in a shipboard or shipyard environment.
  • Must have the working knowledge to identify applicable drawings that will need to be created, or existing drawings that will be impacted by the change and require revisions, including but not limited to removal, installation, and ancillary drawing revision(s).
  • Working Knowledge and experience with government supply procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Must be able to incorporate any changes following customer review and feedback from on-asset prototypes/first article tests as directed by the U.S. Coast Guard Lead Engineer and CDRL A002. The contractor shall revise/update all drawings and ensure they are prepared for fleet-wide publication within 45 calendar days of U.S. Coast Guard Lead Engineer approval.
  • Must have a SECRET or higher security clearance at the time of employment
  • Proficient in sensors and electronic navigation equipment to provide recommendations during site surveys on equipment placement and system integration on the asset level.
