The Building Information Modeling (BIM) Consultant role supports 3D modelling and digital transformation within Ramboll’s Environment & Health department and the innovation team Galago. The position works closely with architects, engineers, and construction professionals on projects such as utility mapping, renovation, restoration, maintenance, and retrofitting, and requires full‑time US work authorization.
In this role the consultant creates accurate 3D building models using laser scanning or photogrammetry, processes lidar‑derived point clouds, familiarizes stakeholders with Scan‑to‑BIM standards, recommends and develops CAD/BIM workflows and deliverables, and coordinates BIM models among multiple project participants.
Qualified candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, Engineering or a related field, have five or more years of relevant experience, and possess strong proficiency with BIM software such as AutoCAD or Revit; experience with GIS, 3D laser scanning, or photogrammetry is advantageous. Effective communication, teamwork, and a willingness to learn new technologies are also required.
