Coordinator, Guest Experience - Volunteer Programs

Description

The team’s initiatives directly support Calgary Airports’ commitment to exceptional service, guiding guests from arrival to departure and fostering memorable moments.

• Coordinate daily operations of volunteer programs, including scheduling, attendance tracking, and shift coverage.
• Support White Hat Ceremonies, PALs events, and Meet & Assist services, ensuring volunteer availability.
• Maintain program documentation and respond to volunteer and stakeholder inquiries.
• Design and facilitate onboarding and training for volunteers.
• Liaise with internal teams and external partners for program delivery and communications.
• Track volunteer engagement metrics and contribute to program evaluation and reporting.
• Coordinate logistics and execution for volunteer-led events and recognition initiatives.

Requirements

• Provide 2–4 years of coordination/administration experience, preferably in guest experience, hospitality, or volunteer programs.
• Hold a post‑secondary diploma in a relevant field or demonstrate equivalent experience.
• Demonstrate experience supporting volunteer training, mentoring, or onboarding.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience coordinating logistics, managing resources, and supporting process improvements in a service‑oriented environment.
• Bilingual in English and French (asset).
• Event planning or program evaluation experience (asset).

Benefits

The position is a full‑time, permanent, unionized role at the Union Band 8 salary level ($88,354.50–$91,903.50). It offers a hybrid work environment with three days in the office and two days remote, and the posting closes on January 21, 2026.
