What you would be doing

You will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects among different sectors including energy, aviation, infrastructure and advisory. Daily, you will work alongside our experienced consultants and undertake air quality assessments, from informing design to fulfilling regulatory requirements and accompanying planning applications. You will provide a key role supporting and assisting with all aspects in project delivery, as well as communicating and liaising with clients (internal and external) regularly. Subject to project requirements, attendance at site visits is also to be expected.

Due to ever an increasing pipeline of work, we are looking for a recent graduate to start their career in environmental consultancy and join our UK air quality team, being based in one of our London, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Newcastle or Leeds offices.

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant subject.
  • Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM) or Institution of Environmental Science (IES). (Desirable).
  • Strong interest and knowledge of air quality and environmental matters.
  • Knowledge of delivering air quality assessments and the use of dispersion modelling software such as ADMS, AERMOD. (Desirable).
  • Knowledge of digital tools such as PowerBI, OpenAir and Python for data interpretation and visualisation. (Desirable).
  • Proficient in geographical information system (GIS). (Desirable).
