Raise, complete and close-out NCR’s, ensuring that registers and records are maintained and filed within Workspace
Maintain project stations.
Be responsible for the correct implementation of the quality management system, where it affects your daily activities.
Maintain the long-term setting out.
Responsible for materials forecast, procurement and reconciliation.
Keep accurate records- diaries, photographs, marked up drawings, etc and ensure engineering team do the same.
Help collate and site data for inclusion in Daily Progress Reports.
Management of supply chain during construction: progress review / co-ordination / 360̊ degree review and feedback.
Manage the production and implement the Inspection and Test Plan (ITPs) for your section of the works
Ensure that accurate setting-out and control is provided and checked (VS direct or subcontractors):
Ensure that For Construction drawings are available and checked at least two weeks prior to implementation.
Maintain and collate quality records
Be aware of responsibilities from the Quality policies and support the implementation of Quality Ripple:
Set-out in advance so that time is available to carry out any secondary checks.
Support management of supply chain during construction: progress, co-ordination and feedback
Responsible for production of as-built documentation from site.
Undertake buildability reviews of the design information
Manage the engineering function on your site
Responsible for the adherence of project team to information management procedures and requirement
Understand the project quality management plan and the roles and responsibility detailed within it
Establish accurate and clear setting-out on the ground.
Manage the Request For Information (RFIs)
Communicate clearly to the subcontract personnel operatives what the setting-out is and how it should be used.
Management of safe systems of works and quality management.
Responsible for the production, review and monitoring of construction methodology documentation including RAMS and ITP's to ensuring compliance with the company’s quality management system and the employers requirements.

Full Driving Licence.
Accuracy of engineering controls and performance and management of site engineering team.
Good communication skills with client representatives, site team and operatives

Quality performance at site level with regard to standards of both workmanship and documentation.
Excellent IT knowledge including use of AUTOCAD and Microsoft suite.
Degree/HNC, or equivalent, in civil engineering desirable.
