Using inspection and sine tables, ball pins, slip gauges, various micrometers, verniers, height gauges, etc. Making in-depth calculations; trigonometry and mathematical formula, using a calculator.
Carry out First Article Inspection (FAI) on all new blades, using ‘free’ table set ups in order to prove the integrity of production and inspection fixtures.
Meeting all blade inspection standards, Quality Assurance Standard (QAS) audit of blade records, storing and recording master blades. Conforming to expect inspection and quality disciplines. Have personalised stamp for records purposes.
Will be required to programme 3D structured light system (GOM ScanBox,) and analyse the data using Polyworks IMInspect software for supporting calibration, tooling, reference data collection, and FAIR programme support to validate the production inspection process.
Will be required to programme a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) thorough MCOSOMOS Mitutoyo software, to enable the creation of calibration programmes for fixtures, model blades, Op proving and FAIR programmes to validate the production inspection processes.
Work closely with Operations and Engineering in order to ensure work prioritisation and timely shop floor support with CMM and GOM asset and programmes troubleshooting as required.
