Estimating Manager

Description

• Assist Project Management team to understand jobs once they are sold.
• Reviews drawings, specifications and estimates for accuracy.
• Answer technical questions regarding estimates.
• Reviews all bid packages and assigns them to the estimators.
• Perform Value Engineering to help reduce the cost of the project.
• Communicate needs and discuss bids from vendors and erectors.
• Communicates with customers to develop an understanding of project requirements.
• Manage the daily activities of the Estimating Department.
• Provides accurate and timely sales quotations at a profit level consistent with the company’s objectives.

Requirements

• The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.
