- Work from existing components and/or engineering drawings. Select speeds, feeds, tooling and operational sequence.
- Actively participate in machining team efforts and department continuous improvement activities.
- Work with and obtain tight tolerances on parts, checking own work with measuring instruments and adjusting to fit as needed.
- Use Bridgeport type mill, manual Lathe, surface grinder and/or basic shop tools to machine progressive die components, replacement repair parts, and other custom tools and fixtures to support manufacturing.

- Familiarity with Solidworks, Mastercam, Fusion 360 a plus.
- Knowledge of CNC machine controls a plus (Mazak VMC and Charmilles EDM).
- Strong shop math, blueprint reading, and problem-solving skills.
- Large part and crane experience preferred.
- 2+ years minimum machining experience.
- Ability to manually lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience using measuring equipment.
