Finance Business Partner

• Work with leaders across the business providing targeted data driven insights to help run their business areas effectively and improve profitability.
• Liaise and support company auditors during annual audit.
• Close the monthly General Ledger to strict deadlines, reconcile and support Balance sheet & Profit & Loss accounts.
• Challenge and influence key decisions to ensure alignment with financial goals.
• Preparing monthly reporting packs that clearly outline key financial performance metrics.
• Act as the primary financial point of contact for designated business units.
• Work with management team in the preparation of the annual budgets.
• Early identification of trends and proactive analysis to drive process and margin improvement.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and financial systems.
• Explain Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet variances vs Budgets
• Support monthly close, analyse monthly results, and provide variance explanations.

LMC FM is seeking an enthusiastic Part Qualified Accountant to join our Finance team as Finance Business partner (FBP). Working closely with the Financial Controller, the FBP will act as an advisor to the business, providing financial insight to aid decision making and drive company performance.

• Ability to organise, interpret and analyse large volumes of qualitative and quantitative data.
• IT literate including knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Have a strong attention to detail and a willingness to challenge and interpret data.
• Proven empowerment skills; well-developed influencing skills.
• Good communicator, able to convey information in a clear, simple and warm manner.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to think strategically.
• Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Excellent client relationship management skills.
• Experience within the relevant industry, or a similar environment.
• Prior Business Partnering experience.
• Business margin validation and analysis.
• Experience working within a results-oriented environment.
• Strong business acumen and ability to understand commercial drivers.
• Experience in Facilities Management or related industry (engineering, construction, mechanical or electrical) is desirable, but not essential.
