Communication: Collaborate with internal departments and customers to obtain remittance information, resolve payment issues and ensure timely resolution.
Month-End Closing: Assist with month-end closing activities by ensuring all cash applications are processed and accounts reconciled.
Payment Processing: Accurately apply incoming customer payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers, credit cards) in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) to the correct customer accounts.
Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of all applied payments and adjustments.
Discrepancy Resolution: Research and resolve payment discrepancies, unapplied cash, short payments, and credit issues, coordinating with relevant internal teams to rectify issues.
General Accounting Support: Provide support with additional accounts receivable or accounting tasks as needed.

Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP systems.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis).
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role.
Other: Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Education: High school diploma or Associate’s. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
