As an LNG Operations Technician III you will lead critical tasks to maintain LNG facility equipment, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee cryogenic liquefaction and vaporization systems. You will work with cutting‑edge technology, lead a dedicated team, and develop your skills in a vital energy field, leveraging strong organizational, collaboration, and communication abilities.
In this role you will safely maintain equipment, test and calibrate process safety devices, analyze data to solve technical problems, and follow company policies and operating procedures. You will install and maintain electrical systems—including switchgear, instrumentation, motor controls, and PLCs—and troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical systems, including high‑voltage and UPS equipment.
Work may involve extreme temperatures, loud noise, confined spaces, and lifting loads of 50 lb or more, as well as climbing ladders or man‑lifts with appropriate PPE. Shifts can include after‑hours, on‑call rotations, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, with occasional travel between Williams locations.
The position requires a high school diploma or GED plus at least two years of natural‑gas industry experience; an associate degree or technical certifications are preferred. A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and advanced knowledge of process control systems and PLCs are also required. Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills, prioritize safety, and be able to pass a pre‑employment physical.
Williams offers competitive compensation, an annual incentive program, hybrid work options, flexible schedules, 401(k) matching, comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage, and generous paid time off. Additional perks include life and disability insurance, health‑savings contributions, wellness rewards, employee stock purchase, robust learning and development, high internal mobility, parental leave, fertility and adoption benefits, and opportunities for community involvement.
