The Associate Director – Construction Project Engineer will join the Project and Programme Management team in Townsville, Queensland, acting as the second‑in‑command for the NQNT program. The role supports program delivery, oversees construction projects to ensure they meet approved designs and specifications, and emphasizes safety. Relocation assistance is available for candidates moving to sunny Townsville.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and be RPEQ‑registered or eligible. The ideal applicant brings at least 15 years of experience on major civil infrastructure projects, preferably with authorities such as TMR, Main Roads, VicRoads or DTP, and possesses a generalist engineering background. Strong leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management and the ability to support complex program delivery are essential.
