What you would be doing

  • Assist with design, layout, equipment selection and periodic inspection of Mitsubishi Authorized Training Centers (MATC).
  • As a Subject Matter Expert, aid in the development and maintenance of new courses and course materials.
  • Provide technical training for internal and external customers both on-site and in METUS training centers.
  • Conduct on-site assessments of customers’ installation and maintenance functions to determine needs for follow-up training.
  • Aid in the development and maintenance of new courses and course materials.
  • Assist with the training and qualification process for internal and external Authorized Trainers.
  • Setup, configure and maintain training equipment and information libraries.
  • Interface with field-deployed staff to maintain up-to-date knowledge levels on how METUS hydronic products are being deployed across the country.
  • Provide backup technical support for internal and external customers when required.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other Office365 products.
  • 2 years of experience in formal technical training delivery.
  • Ability to translate complex thoughts and ideas and communicate them in an easy-to-understand form.
  • Highly enthusiastic and energetic person capable of building and maintaining customer interest during training.
  • 3 years of experience in the design, installation and service of residential and commercial hydronics based HVAC heating and cooling systems and applications.
  • Ability to work independently with little direct daily supervision, to adapt quickly to changes in goals and objectives, and show a strong sense of personal accountability.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting complex electronic, hydronic and refrigerant HVAC or similar systems.
  • Associates degree or a minimum of five years technical experience in the HVAC field.
  • Strong understanding of hydronics based HVAC systems, components, and related controls systems for both chilled water and hot water.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and through formal presentations.
  • Willing to travel up to 40% to for various Company meetings and training both domestically and possibly internationally.
