  • Assisting with tendering, bids, and proposals, providing technical expertise.
  • Supporting site-based activities, including FAT, SAT and commissioning.
  • Producing and reviewing technical specifications, FEED and concept studies.
  • Undertaking cable system design, substation design (grid and distribution), and equipment specification.
  • Acting as Owner’s Engineer and providing technical advisory/due diligence support.
  • Helping to mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to team growth.
  • Supporting and leading the delivery of electrical engineering projects across distribution and transmission systems.

  • Power system protection and control (experience desirable).
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng/BSc minimum; MEng/MSc desirable).
  • Experience in the design, specification, construction, operation or maintenance of distribution and transmission level networks.
  • Solid understanding of the UK electricity system and regulatory/stakeholder environment.
  • Working towards or already holding Chartered Engineer status (CEng) with IET (or similar).
  • Power cables (experience desirable).
  • Previous project delivery experience (leading or co-ordinating tasks).
  • Knowledge of key electrical equipment, such as:
  • Gas and air insulated switchgear, transformers, harmonic filters, and reactive compensation equipment.
  • Consulting experience (desirable, but not essential).
